Restore America Plan is at work Check out this story that was on newsmax but later scrubbed !!!!! Important.
Here is the full text of John L. Perry’s column on Newsmax which suggests that a military coup to “resolve the Obama problem” is becoming more possible and is not “unrealistic.” Perry also writes that a coup, while not “ideal,” may be preferable to “Obama’s radical ideal” — and would “restore and defend the Constitution.”
Newsmax has since removed the column from its website.
Obama Risks a Domestic Military Intervention
By: John L. Perry
There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America’s military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the “Obama problem.” Don’t dismiss it as unrealistic.
America isn’t the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn’t mean it won’t. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes:
# Officers swear to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Unlike enlisted personnel, they do not swear to “obey the orders of the president of the United States.”
# Top military officers can see the Constitution they are sworn to defend being trampled as American institutions and enterprises are nationalized.
# They can see that Americans are increasingly alarmed that this nation, under President Barack Obama, may not even be recognizable as America by the 2012 election, in which he will surely seek continuation in office.
# They can see that the economy — ravaged by deficits, taxes, unemployment, and impending inflation — is financially reliant on foreign lender governments.
# They can see this president waging undeclared war on the intelligence community, without whose rigorous and independent functions the armed services are rendered blind in an ever-more hostile world overseas and at home.
# They can see the dismantling of defenses against missiles targeted at this nation by avowed enemies, even as America’s troop strength is allowed to sag.
# They can see the horror of major warfare erupting simultaneously in two, and possibly three, far-flung theaters before America can react in time.
# They can see the nation’s safety and their own military establishments and honor placed in jeopardy as never before.
So, if you are one of those observant military professionals, what do you do?
Wait until this president bungles into losing the war in Afghanistan, and Pakistan’s arsenal of nuclear bombs falls into the hands of militant Islam?
Wait until Israel is forced to launch air strikes on Iran’s nuclear-bomb plants, and the Middle East explodes, destabilizing or subjugating the Free World?
What happens if the generals Obama sent to win the Afghan war are told by this president (who now says, “I’m not interested in victory”) that they will be denied troops they must have to win? Do they follow orders they cannot carry out, consistent with their oath of duty? Do they resign en masse?
Or do they soldier on, hoping the 2010 congressional elections will reverse the situation? Do they dare gamble the national survival on such political whims?
Anyone who imagines that those thoughts are not weighing heavily on the intellect and conscience of America’s military leadership is lost in a fool’s fog.
Will the day come when patriotic general and flag officers sit down with the president, or with those who control him, and work out the national equivalent of a “family intervention,” with some form of limited, shared responsibility?
Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.
Military intervention is what Obama’s exponentially accelerating agenda for “fundamental change” toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama’s radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.
Unthinkable? Then think up an alternative, non-violent solution to the Obama problem. Just don’t shrug and say, “We can always worry about that later.”
In the 2008 election, that was the wistful, self-indulgent, indifferent reliance on abnegation of personal responsibility that has sunk the nation into this morass.

UPDATED: Checkpoints open; guns OK in 'express lane' http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/politics/entries/2010/05/21/capitol_checkpoints_open_guns.html
Without fanfare, the first step to airport-style security checkpoints were opened today at the four entrances to the Texas Capitol.
The public, visitors and lobbyists must walk through metal detectors and have their purses and briefcases searched. In coming weeks, their belongs will have to go through X-ray machines yet to be installed that will complete the new screening procedures.
State employees can walk around the checkpoint if they show a valid state ID, as can Texans who carry a concealed pistol with a permit.
It's perhaps the only public building in the country where pistol-packing average Joes can walk through security undeterred.
The express lane for gun owners is clearly marked: "CHL Holders."
"It's quite intimidating. We've never had to go through this before," said Beth Lord, a retired personnel manager who was visiting the statehouse with her grandchildren.
"If they're going to have security like this, why are they letting some people to come in with guns. That doesn't make too much sense."
Other visitors who came through the checkpoints seemed to agree.
Mark Casey, a Katy engineer who was touring with his family, called the checkpoint policy "bizarre."
"I would hope our officials feel safer in a building where only they are allowed to carry guns," he said. "If terrorists and criminals with guns can't get in, why does anyone need one in here?"
Officials have justified their decision this way: CHL permit holders are required to undergo training and pass a background check, steps that will weed out potential nuts and terrorists.
A number of lobbyists who come and go at the Capitol several times each day - and who have been grousing about the checkpoints for months - say they plan to get CHL permits so they can go through the express lane and save time. They said they do not plan to carry a weapon.
With visitor traffic light this morning, there were no lines at the checkpoints and most everyone was smiling. Along with the checkpoints, there is a noticeable presence of more state uniformed troopers in the Capitol and on its grounds.
As part of the plan to upgrade Capitol security, officials have said they planned to increase the number of troopers, install dozens of additional surveillance cameras and implement new programs designed to thwart any terrorist attack.
UPDATED: Turns out, some reporters may be able to use the "express lane" to get through the new Capitol security.
The press tags issued by DPS look like state employee IDs, and some even identify the holder as a State of Texas "employee," even though their media affiliation is listed just below on some.
On others, however, it just lists "SPB," for State Preservation Board, the agency that oversees the Capitol.
DPS troopers waved several press members through this morning, prompting lobbyists walking through detectors to complain. But the reporters' state ID badges allow that, one trooper said.
For the record, mine looks like a state employee badge but said 'visitor" where the others say "employee." I had to go through the metal detector.

Michelle Obama's Global Graduates
Rather than tossing a graduation cap into the air, Michelle Obama's commencement address at George Washington University was enough to make a graduate fall on the ground weeping in a heap of despair.
After accomplishing the goal of completing a college education, the last thing a collegian should be subjected to on graduation day is a keynote speaker who does anything but uplift, motivate, and encourage.
The First Lady's GWU commencement addresswould have been more stirring if accompanied by a funeral dirge. Students came to the ceremony hoping to be inspired to take on the world. Unfortunately, notable honorary degree recipient Michelle Obama took the opportunity to burden graduates with a yoke of global guilt.
As she banged the drum for community and public service and placing herself in the position of conscience, free will, and individual charity, the First Lady's speech gave the impression that if not for her own directional goading, students would, like lumbering oxen, disappear into the vortex of self-interest and personal gain.
The first mistake George Washington University students made was to respond to the maven of public service's initial commission to volunteer in the greater Washington community. Student willingness to participate in community was the carrot Mrs. Obama used to woo GWU as commencement speaker. At the time, youthful altruism blinded students from recognizing the First Lady's unquenchable thirst to make community activists out of doctoral candidates.
In response to Michelle's original challenge, GW students held "food drives, beautified parks and made care packages for our troops," all commendable contributions. However, 100,000 hours of local community volunteerism, even national volunteerism, while good, came up wanting, because for Mrs. Obama, global citizenry and a lifetime of international commitment are the real objectives.
Michelle lauded graduates not so much for accomplishing the impressive goal of becoming lawyers and physicians, but more for taking winter breaks abroad, spending Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at a D.C. public school painting classrooms, and digging out Foggy Bottom after Snowmageddon. According to Michelle, GW graduates "fully joined a generation of activists and doers," not by being granted advanced degrees, but rather by teaching Sudanese refugees English in Tennessee.
As if that weren't enough, Mrs. Obama segued into highlighting events that would encourage any Generation Y-er to rend his garments and clamor toward an escape route leading far from the National Mall.
Trudging through doom and gloom, Michelle peppered the discourse with sprinkles of nostalgia.

I mean, you all have seen so much. Just since you were in middle school, you've witnessed terrorism...the cost of war reach into our communities...unimaginable devastation and suffering in the aftermath of a tsunami; a hurricane; and earthquake. You've felt the wrath of a recession that's changed your towns and even your families.
The esteemed Doctor of Public Service plodded on, saying, "Now that's a whole lot to bear for any generation. So no one would have blamed you had you chosen to hunker down and turn inward; if you had simply focused on making sure that your own lives were secure."
Question, is "little by little building [your own] nest" somehow wrong or evil?
Discouraging individual ambition, Michelle told students, "We are no longer isolated from what happens on the other side of the world ... it's in our best interest to look beyond our immediate self-interest, and look out for one another globally."
In other words, rather than letting educational accomplishments provide an escape route, immerse yourself in global misery because "challenges are borderless, from the economy to terrorism, to climate change." Don't establish yourself so you have something of value to contribute. No, instead, "just take it global"...whatever "it" is.
Michelle even waxed historical, but not by quoting GW University's namesake, who said, "It will be found an unjust and unwise jealousy to deprive a man of his natural liberty upon the supposition he may abuse it." Instead, the First Lady called to mind the inspiring words of Woodrow Wilson, who said more socially progressive things such as "America is not now and cannot in the future be a place for unrestricted individual enterprise."
Attempting to enthuse, Michelle encouraged Woodrow Wilson-type idealism in the graduates by promoting groups like Teach for America and the Peace Corps. Michelle cautioned the audience to steer clear of negative influences who "warn [graduates] to lower sights ... scale back ambitions, or to settle on something"...like starting a medical practice instead of running a lottery to staff a free health clinic in Anacostia?
As a jumping-off point and to weave in that old campaign slogan favorite, "Yes We Can," Michelle cited the "ills of this interconnected world...hate...need and devastation." Michelle also reminded students, "Creating anything meaningful takes time. And sometimes, the only thing that happens in an instant," besides going from kindergarten to the presidency, is -- you guessed it -- "destruction."
Michelle encouraged students reach out to others with a "sincere willingness ... to share enthusiasm ... to keep going to places asking what can you do to lift those places up." Yeah, like elevating the vision of graduates at college commencement ceremonies where you share rousing words of optimistic admonition.
Revisiting yet again her own blue-collar roots in the South Side of Chicago, Michelle shared how her flawed view of the world changed when global citizen Barack Obama caused her to "consider [her] life as connected not just to [her] country but to the world." Thus, Michelle Obama was transformed into an international denizen.
Michelle did not disappoint; she threw in the red meat of racism and mentioned the "hardened mistrust" that comes from focusing on "what makes us different -- things like color or creed; class or country."
The First Lady hinted at the belief that only by Americans becoming world citizens will the world see the "true face of America -- our generosity, our strength, the enduring power of our ideals, the infinite reservoir of our hope." Only when people "shattered by catastrophic earthquakes" see "wave after wave of rescuers and doctors and relief workers all wearing the stars and stripes on their sleeves" will the world then be safer and America stronger. What about Homeland Security, missile defense, a strong military, and a secure border?
As a result of Michelle's oratory, many GW grads likely were gripped to the core by depression, fear, and anxiety, and tending toward weeping and gnashing of teeth. Yet the graduating class was forced to endure an unending sea of words void of solace or a flicker of hopefulness. Instead, the First Lady rallied sheepskin recipients to choose a dismal collective vision of social justice fueled by government-inflicted self-reproach and guilt.
Mrs. Obama ended a keynote speech, whose content largely exhorted the forfeiting of primitive ideas of individualism and the surrendering of obsolete concepts of American exceptionalism, by calling to mind the most historic of all events ever hosted on the National Mall. Michelle strongly suggested students heed Barack Obama's lofty call to America by participating not merely in 100,000 hours of volunteerism, or as self-absorbed "graduates" of GW University, but as diplomats of a superior, all-inclusive "global institution."

Congress Rejects Illinois Gitmo
In an interesting development the House Armed Services Committee unanimously approved legislation that would block Gitmo, Illinois from coming to fruition. In fact, they've blocked any Gitmo terrorist from being transferred anywhere into the interior of the USA. This is a blow to Obama's desires to shut Gitmo down and to bring terrorists to a prison near you
Wednesday the committee approved a defense bill for 2011 that includes language to prevent moving detainees into any US facility inside our borders and also blocked any funding to even study the possibility.
The bill does, however, state that the Secretary of Defense must submit to Congress a full report that "adequately justifies" any such proposal in the future which seems to signal that they haven't shut the door on the possibility of a later opening of a detainee facility inside US borders.
This would appear to be a case of Congress telling the president that he overstepped his position when he announced that he had the power to transfer terrorists to the states.
You might recall that that in December of 2009, Barack Obama's Justice Department memo authorizing the transfer to Illinois of terror suspects being housed at Guantanamo Bay.
In December, Obama tried to invoke his powers as commander-in-chief of America's armed forces as the authority by which he could commandeer the Thomson Correctional facility in Illinois and place Gitmo terror suspects there for housing.
This was a desperate effort not to make the lie to his 2009 executive order setting a Jan. 2010 deadline for shutting down the Guantanamo facility - a deadline he's missed badly.
But now Congress is slapping his hand and telling him that "memo" or no, he can't transfer terrorists to facilities inside US borders and even if he thinks he does have that power, Congress won't pay for it all.
Amusingly, the New York Times tried to spin this as the Republican's fault. After noting that Obama missed his own self-imposed, one-year deadline to close Gitmo, The Times tries to make readers think that this newest setback it is all because of those mean ol' Republicans that are blocking Obama's valiant efforts.
Mr. Obama had declared he would close the prison within a year of taking office. The administration argues that Guantánamo is a symbol used for terrorism recruitment, so closing it would enhance national security.
But many Republicans have maintained that Guantánamo should stay open, arguing that the Thomson plan would waste money and create a national-security risk. Some libertarians also oppose institutionalizing indefinite detentions without trial on domestic soil.
Newsflash, NYT, this approval to block Gitmo, Illinois was unanimous.
If you need help with that big word it means all the Democrats on the committee voted to block their own president's Gitmo plans.
And this is not to mention that the Democrats control Congress and could easily have approved of Obama's plans if they had wanted to.
The more interesting story, NYT, might be to ask why all the Democrats voted to block Obama on this.
I guess that is too much like work for the Times, though.
So, no Gitmo, Illinois any time in the near future.
Now, I wonder if the extreme left will begin to call Obama a war criminal and torturer for not closing Gitmo like they did Bush for all those years?
Do you hear that? It's crickets. They love the sound of crickets in the morning.

17 more states planning Ariz. 'illegal' crackdown
But ICE chief says feds might not 'process' illegals arrested by state
In what is developing into a standoff between states and the federal government that could be bigger than gun control or even health care, 17 states have launched versions of Arizona's immigration law, even as federal officials say they may not bother to process illegal aliens caught by the states.
William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, which has been trying to get officials to address the open southern border for years, warned the consequences could be dire.
"Over the last couple days, Obama and the chief of ICE have refused to honor their oaths of office," he said. "Their constitutional requirement is to enforce existing laws.
"They've told the American public to go eat cake," he said.
His organization is assembling the list of state efforts to emulate the Arizona law, which makes it illegal under state as well as federal law to be in the state without documentation.
"Seventeen states are now filing versions of Arizona's SB 1070, which is designed to help local police enforce America's existing immigration laws," ALIPAC said in a report today.
The report said numerous national and local polls indicate 60 to 81 percent of Americans support local police enforcing immigration laws.
"Our national network of activists have been working overtime trying to help the state of Arizona and the brave Arizonans who have passed this bill," he said. "Arizona no longer stands alone and we have now documented state lawmakers filing, or announcing they will file, versions of the Arizona bill in seventeen states! We will not stop until all states are protected from invasion as required by the U.S. Constitution."
Gheen said the states where some form of immigration crackdown is under development include Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.
President Obama several times has said he doesn't like the Arizona law. He's called it misguided and ordered a review by the Justice Department.
John Morton, who heads the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, said his agency might not process illegal aliens caught under state jurisdiction, the Chicago Tribune reported.
He insisted that only the federal government should respond to the problem.
"I don't think the Arizona law, or laws like it, are the solution," Morton said.
One blogger expressed concern that "a senior Homeland Security official has openly declared that he won't be doing his job."
"Morton has sworn an oath to uphold the laws of the United States. He is not allowed to pick and choose which ones he likes and which he doesn't."
Gheen said the Arizona law and the plans it has spawned in other states is a victory for Americans. But he said those are just battles, and winning the war will require success in elections this fall.
A "comprehensive" solution to the problem will arrive when there are enough "hostile" members of Congress to tell the administration to uphold the existing immigration and border laws or the impeachments will start, he said.
"[We need to send] to Washington a hostile Congress that is going to encircle the executive branch and tell them to [follow the law] or we'll impeach all the way down to the speaker of the House," he said.
Gheen said he is alarmed over the pending release, expected sometime just before the election, of a movie called "Machete," which reportedly is the story of a Mexican uprising in the United States.
Gheen said the message in the movie reportedly is that Americans will either submit to the "rape" of their land or else.
He said he believes the project is intended to create turmoil just as the mid-term elections draw near.
"There is nothing as important right now as getting [people] fully involved with all the campaigns," he said.
ALIPAC already has helped to pass some form of immigration enforcement legislation in more than 30 states. And Gheen has developed a national reputation for defeating socially progressive plans to hand out licenses, in-state tuition and other taxpayer benefits to illegal aliens.
"It is incumbent upon our states to protect American lives, property, jobs, wages, security, and health, when the executive branch fails to honor its constitutional responsibility to do so by enforcing our existing border and immigration laws," he said.
The Arizona law, which strictly prohibits racial profiling, empowers local police to enforce immigration laws.
To monitor the growing number of states considering similar legislation, ALIPAC utilizes a public forum in which members can update the organization with news articles and other information from states where the push for an Arizona-like law is making headway.
In Arizona's neighboring state Utah, for example, Rep. Stephen Sandstrom, R-Orem, reportedly is drafting a bill that would similarly require immigrants to carry proof of status and require law enforcement officers to check for it.
"Utah is seen as state that welcomes illegal immigrants. We almost encourage it with driving privilege cards and in-state tuition for illegals," Sandstrom told the Salt Lake Tribune. "With Arizona making the first step in this direction, Utah needs to pass a similar law or we will see a huge influx of illegals. The real issue is just establishing a rule of law in our state."
Across the country in Maryland, Baltimore's WBAL-TV reported earlier that State Delegate Patrick McDonough, R-Baltimore County, is drafting a bill identical to Arizona's. He's also planning to poll his fellow legislators before the bill is filed.

Which Islamic organization in America, Europe, or Arab-Muslim country condemned the recent attacks in Upper Egypt, where innocent people were killed while leaving their church on the Eastern Christmas Eve?"
Where are the Islamic voices opposing and protesting the persecution, oppression, and discrimination in their own homelands in countries such as Egypt, Sudan, Nigeria, and Iraq, to name just a few?"
Islamic actions, not words, are what Americans need to heed, and we must be cautious toward what we are being told by those whose actions are lethal around the world."http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/05/ground_zero_mosque_a_cultural.html

..... the Planning Commission of lower Manhattan has approved the construction of a $100-million mosque near the site of Ground Zero. ..The thirteen-floor building... will reach a height of one hundred feet... a cultural center which will work to bring harmony between Islamic culture and New Yorkers...constructed in a city still bleeding from one of the worst civilian attacks since WWII,
still suffering with the sad memory of the destruction of the World Trade Center and the loss of almost three thousand lives.
After almost nine years, New Yorkers and all Americans still wait to see the replacement of
the destroyed towers Instead ...a proposed Islamic cultural center
a landmark and a memorial to the victory of bin Laden and company as a sample of Islamic jihad against Western infidels.
As a professional architect, I wonder why the Planning Commission of lower Manhattan decided to keep its residents uninformed about a project in this sensitive location with such purpose and proportion. A project of this size would normally need in-depth urban study and infrastructure planning.(snip)
Aren't we the least bit suspicious of this desired harmony when public condemnations or demonstrations of remorse made by Muslims and Arab leaders regarding this barbaric act have been few and far between? (snip) Furthermore, all Americans have suffered the offensive rumors that claim the origin of the 9/11 attacks to be an inside job by our own FBI or the American Jews -- insulting our intelligence and humiliating the victims and their families with this insidious form of denial.
Let us not forget as well that New York City Mayor Giuliani refused to accept a donation of ten million dollars from a Saudi Prince as a pledge to rebuild whatever was destroyed by Arab terrorists (his own fellow citizens) in lower
Manhattan.
(snip) By using his heart in a moment of great courage, Giuliani gave the whole world a lesson in confronting Arab hypocrisy. At a time when Americans were in a state of shock, the insensitivity of such an offer by the Saudi Prince was counteracted by the American spirit embodied in Giuliani's wholesale rejection of money coming from the same source as the attackers in order to dictate their own agenda and buy our sovereignty.
... a statement made by an imam indicating that the intended cultural center would bring "a new discourse in the relationship between the United States, New York City, and the Muslim world."(snip) The reality of a supremacist system within Islamic culture should be enough to preclude any dialogue with those who live by the U.S. Constitution and subscribe to the modern culture of New York City.
(snip) A few days ago, in an interview published in Kul-al-Arab, a weekly newspaper in Israel, a Knesset Member, Imam Masoud Ganaim, was calling to replace the state of Israel with an Islamic caliphate. This kind of remark shows the true nature of Islam today... Leaders of Islam and the Cordoba Institute must... prove to us that they demonstrate the same openness to co-exist with those of all other faiths and beliefs in the nations where Islam dominates.
The free world has already allowed the most egregious actions to take place, such as the placement of Iran onto the U.N. Commission for Women's Rights, the FIFA reversal of the banning of the hijab worn in Olympic games, and the Egyptian sponsorship of the U.N. Religious Defamation Act.... Shall we add to this list the building of an Islamic mega-center at the sacred site of Ground Zero..?
If New York is in need of a new cultural center in the heart of the Ground Zero community, it should be built and run by those who stand up for freedom, human rights, tolerance, and the love of humanity.
New Yorkers have been the ones to open their hearts and receive immigrants, who come from around the world to seek a better life and share in our freedom -- the kind of freedom which those who seek to build this project know nothing about
