Dear Funk supporters:

Here is the latest Funk update. Meghan is right - excitement is high and the momentum is definitely behind Dave. Dave is 4 days into his $15k for 15 days fundraiser and is almost 30% of the way to his goal. Please support him in any way that you can. This race is so close and he is definitely the Congressman we want representing the people of Iowa and bringing conservatism back to our great state.

Excitement is high and the momentum is behind Funk and we need to you keep it that way and push Funk over the top on June 8th. Please get involved this week in the following ways:

* "Phoning for Funk" -- Wednesday, May 12th from 5pm-9pm; at the Burnett Reality offices (10200 Hickman Court Clive, IA)

* "Door Knocking for Dave" -- Saturday, May 15th from 12pm-3:30pm; meet at The Chicken Coop Sports Bar (1960 Grand Avenue West Des Moines, IA 50265-4290)

* Invite people to a Funk House Party -- Sunday, May 16th, 3:30pm-5:30pm, hosted by Bill and Patti Brown at 6055 North Waterbury Road, Des Moines, IA 50312. Lets get more people to meet Funk, the more he meets, the more votes he gets!

* Attend the 3rd District Congressional Candidate Debate hosted by the Des Moines Tea Party -- Sunday, May 16th, 7pm-9pm at the Holiday Inn across from the Des Moines airport (6111 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, IA).
