The Funk campaign had a great weekend. To kick off the weekend Dave participated in a candidate forum on Friday, hosted by iowapolitics.com. And then participated in another candidate forum on Saturday in Knoxville. It was clear that Dave posses the depth of knowledge and conviction needed to reverse the size of our federal government and restore our Constitution to her rightful place in governing.
The forum really solidified the importance of the June 8th primary. We cannot allow simply another "R" go up against "Lockstep Leonard." We must select the candidate that is committed to returning government to its proper Constitutional role, not just trimming around the edges. June 8th must be HUGE tea party at the polls, please participate and bring at least 5 others with you.
As the weather is warming, the Funk team is ordering "Funk Barn Signs." We would like to have at least one in each town in the district. Please let me know ASAP if you (or someone you know) has the property appropriate to display a barn sign.
Below is what Dave is up to this week. As always please tell your circle of influence about where Dave will be. Again, you are essential part in helping Dave meet and share his message with more Iowans

We are just regular Americans probably much like you, who simply made the decision not to be the” silent majority” any longer. Most are just tired of yelling at the TV and watching our great nation move toward something we do not recognize nor want. In addition to promoting the 9 Principles and 12 Values, we desire to Engage, Educate and Empower.
While you're here take a look at the 9 principles and 12 values. If you believe in 7 of the 9 then we have something in common and welcome you to join us, "We the People", to help renew the original intent and soul of America.
